Project Censored Radio
Beginning in October 2017, you can hear me on Project Censored as I read and discuss contemporary poetry with project director Mickey Huff. Project Censored Radio is syndicated on 40 stations from Maui to New York.
Project Censored educates students and the public about the importance of a truly free press for democratic self-government. It exposes and opposes news censorship and promotes independent investigative journalism, media literacy, and critical thinking.
Project Censored airs in the Bay Area on KPFA 94.1 on Friday afternoons from 1pm - 2pm. You can listen to the archives here. You can also listen to my interview with the project director Mickey Huff which aired on October 27, 2017. I hosted a special hour-long broadcast for the first week of January 2018 which you can listen to here.
Project Censored 2019 features an essay I wrote with J. Spagnolo about the interplay of poetry and journalism in the fake news era. You can order the book here.
